Stearns & Foster mattresses are the high-end luxury line from Sealy. These premium mattresses start around $1800 and go way up from there (we recently tested a $3900 Queen size Stearns & Foster and that isn't even the best they offer).

History

Created by George Stearns and Seth Foster in 1846 just outside of Cincinnati, Stearns & Foster is one of the oldest mattress companies in America. In the early 1900's Stearns & Foster started to put more emphasis into the style and design of their products, a trait that would carry on to the present-day line of high quality mattresses. After redesigning their entire product line in 1994 they received a 97% satisfaction rating from their customers.
